Barwa- Housing Development

The Compound is located on Salwa and aims at developing an integrated residential city for workers. It is constructed on a land area of 994,567 square meters. The project covers the construction of 3,170 residential houses, comprising of 8-bedroom units with eight toilets, and one kitchen. In addition to that, it will include shops and mosques with project total built-up area of 730,728 square meters. Moreover, the construction will focus on providing full services covering all infrastructure works of 25 power substations, internal roads, potable water, irrigation, fire and sewage networks as well as CCTV cameras, as well as security services. An adjacent land plot of 183,538 square meters is allocated as parking lots for buses, in addition to a hypermarket, a security center and government services.

This project is one of the fruits of the cooperation between Barwa Real Estate and the Government of the State of Qatar in order to strengthen the efforts exerted by the Government to improve the housing conditions of the workers and meet the needs of the local market for the housing of the workers in line with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030 and Qatar’s preparations for hosting the 2022 World Cup
