L Arcadio

The project is to renovate o traditional commercial center in a monumental and historical area of Beirut downtown, and thus tomaintain a familiar enclosure at the historical area. In renovating this building, the opportunity hos been taken to Improve the original by Judicious handling of the fenestration, the efficient interiors, and the arcades at all levels. By reproducing much of the details of the facade, the design has ensured an appropriate association with the existing buildings and the Maarad street quality Is emphasized and strengthened. L’Arcadio is composed of six floors, the ground floor will be taken by exclusive shops within the arcades and can have their own character without competing with the facade. Five floors of flexible modern office space rise above the G.F., redesigned and reformed to achieve flexibility and to afford highly technical services.
