QATAR SHELL PEARL GTL PROJECT – EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANT
This project is an Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Supply of Equipment, Plant and Materials and related services for the implementation of the Effluent Treatment Plant which comprise of the following:
- Primary treatment (Heat exchangers for hot HPS steam, sweet & sour corrugated plate interceptions, controlled discharge facility & waste oil tanks).
- Secondary treatment (Buffer tanks / Heat exchangers, irrigation water unit, sludge dewatering, Effluent Recovery unit, Flocculation-Flotation unit, Biotreaters (90m x 42m x 10m), Clarifiers (41m Ø x 10m high), including 17 no. carbon and stainless steel tanks such as buffer and off-spec tanks (40m Ø x 25m high), submerged ultra filtration, reverse osmosis.
- Cooling water blow down: submerged ultra filtration and submerged reverse osmosis
Indicative quantities and figures:
- Waste water treated 41,600m3/day.
- 2,750m of AOC drainage liner.
- 2,600m of F/W networks.
- 3,400m of EOF networks (ditches & pipes).
- 11,000m of electrical & instrumentation trencher.
- 65,000m3 of concrete.
- 3,600 tones of steel structures.
- 700 No. of equipment.
- 380,000 inch Dia of carbon, stainless & alloy pipes.
